Our firm was originally a part of The Hydro-Technical Trust in Bucharest, and has been independent since 01.09.1987.

Until March 1991, the firm was a subordinate of TAGLHS Bucharest, and only after became SC Sibarex SA. Focsani – an independent firm, with mixed capital and own budget.

Since 1997, the main shareholder has been SIF Transilvania, based in Brasov. On the 19th of March 2003, the last remaining 38% of shares that were owned by the state were sold by APAPS Constanta to SC Vega Srl Galati, making the firm fully private. Currently, AVAS Bucharest (the state, respectively), owns 4,91%, represented by lands.

The name SIBAREX comes from our main project: the construction of the SIret BAragan EXterior irrigation channel.
